The reincarnation of the Fanny pack took the late Naughties and early Tenies by storm when loud print 80's shirts and block colour vintage track tops were uniform for your night out. If you were at a festival and weren't wearing a fanny pack with Levi's denim shorts and tights, were you really even there? As we climb ever-closer to the end of another decade, the 'Bum bag' has made one last hurrah in the trend world, but it grew up a little since we last saw it.
'Belt bags' have made their mark on the runway this year and now you will find pretty much every retailer, whether that be high-end or high-street, offering some sort of belted bag to satisfy your hands-free needs! The one that particularly caught my eye was this deep burgundy beauty from the Violeta range from Mango. This trend fulfilled my new obsession with belting unconventional wardrobe pieces, in this example we see this boxy dad blazer (from eBay of course) cinched in with the infamous belt bag to create a really cool silhouette. I thought I'd pair this with some black flares to elongate the legs and add a little 70's twist.
